March is probably one of the most promising months of the year, when we prepare for the bright and sunny days of the following two seasons.

It is therefore a happy coincidence that March is the month that celebrates the ladies around us through the two events dedicated to International Women's Day and Romanian Mărțișor.

Martisor story is one closely linked to the ancient culture of Romania and some countries (Moldova and Albania), representing the gateway to a new year. Traditionally red and white cord was accompanied by a penny and offered as a talisman for your loved ones to enjoy the luck, health and spiritual cleaning. At the end of March the lucky thread must be tied to a rose or a blooming tree to bring prosperity.

To keep it close to you, along with the memory of a cherished moment, we propose you to tie it to the edge of a painting or a canvas so that lucky and good vibes will surround you every day.

International Women's Day has a long history, beginning in 1909 in far away New York, at an event organized by the Socialist Party of America. In 1911 the first large-scale representation of this day occurred on March 19, with over 1 million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, calling for women's right to vote and access to public office.
1975 was declared by the United Nations International Year of Women and March 8 became the official International Women's Day.

Although the beginnings of this festival was dedicated to political and social causes, supporting women in achieving fundamental rights, March 8 is a day that celebrates the spirit of both strong and fragile, independent and graceful women around us.

In most countries, the ladies receive flowers (especially tulips, yellow mimosa, violet and even lily), sweets and small gifts. We believe that you can combine all (and a little of your affection) in objects that will pass with flying colors the test of time - photo albums made as you wish, photo calendars that make everyday a reason to smile or cups for the beginning of day full of promise.
