7 essential rules for "mobile" photos

 For several years now, having the mobile phones in our pockets transformed us within seconds in photographers. Portraits, landscapes, rich meals, fashion, color or black and white photos happen anywhere and anytime. To turn the story into a picture to be stored in the album, we want to offer you a few simple tips that apply to any picture taken with any mobile phone.

We should not settle for now, but it would be nice to mention us when you will become a famous photographer :)

1. Golden Rule - Lenses
It may seem trivial or self-evident, but often we hurry or simply forget to clean the camera lens. Worn pockets, bags and generally in places together with crumbs, coins, pieces of paper and even keys, mobile phone must be adjusted to act as a camera.

2. Rule Silver - Instinct
Spontaneity and willingness to experiment make good house with beautiful photos. Do not be afraid to take pictures anytime you see something that inspires you - mobile phones allow you to react instantly so do not miss moments thinking too much if it's under right angle. If it is attractive then action! Camera! Now! :)

3. Bronze rule - Image Sequences
Digital photos do not require anything other than storage. So there is actually a reason not to shoot multiple shots of the same subject. Experiment with distance to the subject, shooting angle, light source position (if the sun will have you running around after him :), focus and any other contextual element.

4. Platinum Rule - Light
Every picture, however trivial or incredible is either enhanced or compromised by the light. The same subject in different lights will express different things. From the shadows to color tones, natural light must exist to win (like Star Wars).
As a special mention, flash is not light, but rather an unpleasant intrusion into the picture. Use natural light as much as possible or, for indoor shots, diffuse light, soft textures and contextula colors.

5. Titanium Rule - Zoom
Phone camera zoom shall be used only in emergencies. Even for the most powerful built-in camera, the image resolution is reduced substantially when using zoom and that means distortion - noise pixels visible, indistinct. Best zoom for photos with the phone is the subject sprint.
